Vicky Clarke
NEURAL MATERIALS
NEURAL MATERIALS explores the materiality of neural synthesis through a new performance system for sound sculpture, electronics and machine learning. Vicky’s research explores potentials for gestural and expressive acoustic interactions with metal AI sculpture and neural synthesis. Working with Bela sensor technology from the Augmented Instruments Lab, modular electronics, and a new industrial-musique concrete dataset; her research culminated in a live audio-visual performance in Oxford in April 2024.
